I made my first Wikipedia posting on Jan 29, 2003. It was about the Portland Sea Dogs.
I live in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. I work as a writer, computer trainer, event producer, non-profit fundraiser, and other stuff.

- Jack divides his time these days between work as a Marketing Consultant & as the founder of Davenport4 Productions.
- He provides marketing advice and programs for corporate, non-profit and community programs such as theatre companies, museums, theme parks, community festivals and other destination attractions. He specializes in what he calls "Live Audience Marketing", creating campaigns that attract visitors to exhibits, presentations, and other "shared experience" activities.
- His clients have included America Online, Netscape Communications, The Wings of History Air Museum, IDG, Apple Computer, Pro Portsmouth (NH), and the City of Palo Alto (CA).
- Productions (http://www.da4.com/|Davenport4) creates a wide variety of content for conventional and new media channels. It creates presentations and exhibits for Audio, Video, Print, Web, Live Audiences, and other new media.
- Other areas of his expertise include website software developent where he has designed and maintained a wide variety of websites, from the simple to the sophisticated. He specialized in dynamic, interactive, database-driven sites. And has done alot of work with perl, php, XML and SQL.
- He's also worked in theatrical stage and video production, where he produced corporate videos & local TV programming, worked in theatrical production management, and has stage-managed seven theatrical shows since 1993, including the world-premiere original musical Honor Song For Crazy Horse.
- A 20 year veteran of the computer industry, he has worked in virtually every aspect of that business, from training to writing to web development to marketing to programming to event management.
- He is a Board Member of the Park Arts Festival (http://www.artfest.org/|Prescott) in Portsmouth NH. He's also an avid Private Pilot, sailor, motorcycle rider, and a really bad golfer. He grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, spent 12 years in Silicon Valley, and now lives in Portsmouth, NH.
