For further information about me, see the article Michael Everson. Yes, I did write the first version of that article. Roozbeh had inserted my name in the Unicode article and a couple of months later I filled in the stub. I wasn't aware of the autobiography policy, but I didn't intend to write a "vanity" page. I invite interested Wikipedians to review the article with regard to significance and verifiability, as well as with regard to neutrality.
It is kind of nice being noteworthy enough to be in Wikipedia (as a number of Wikipedians have agreed that I am). In November 2003 I was interviewed by Dick Gordon on The Connection, National Public Radio public affairs call-in programme, WBUR: Alphabetician to the World (http://www.theconnection.org/shows/2003/11/20031120_b_main.asp). In September 2003 Michael Erard wrote the feature article about me which was published on the front page of the Technology supplement of The New York Times: For the World’s A B C’s, He Makes 1’s and 0’s (http://www.evertype.com/misc/nyt-code.html).
