Wikipedia entry if there was one

David Boothroyd (born November 9, 1972) is a political researcher based in London.

He was born Leeds, West Riding of Yorkshire and brought up first in Leeds but moved to Scarborough in 1976 where he attended Newby County Primary School. In 1983 he moved to Congleton, Cheshire where he attended Quinta County Primary School, and from 1984, Heathfield High School. From 1989 to 1991 he attended King's School, Macclesfield. His further education was at St. Catharine's College, Cambridge University.

He has been a member of the Labour Party since 1989 and on leaving university worked for John Battle, MP for Leeds West. He then worked as a private sector political researcher, before returning to Parliament to work for Ian Lucas, MP for Wrexham. His book "Politico's Guide to the History of British Political Parties" was published in 2001. He has been a member of Westminster City Council since 2002. He is currently an Account Executive for a nationwide public affairs company specialising in urban regeneration schemes.

Why 'DBIV'?

Because my father, grandfather and great-grandfather were all called David Boothroyd, so this makes me David Boothroyd IV which abbreviates to DBIV. The long form is not used because my father calls himself Dave.
