My name is Rod Dav4is. (The "4" is silent.)
I'm a retired IT professional, presently occupying my time compiling our family genealogy. Thus far, I have documented[1] (http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~dav4is/ODTs/) more than 83,000 people in some 200 ancestral families and 150 collateral families. I had the foresight to be descended from many of the well-documented families of colonial New England, and many of these are connected to ancient lines in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales — and beyond, to Scandinavia and the Continent.
As a sort of hobby within a hobby, I have documented[2] (http://freepages.history.rootsweb.com/~dav4is/people/) over 1300 celebrities to whom I am related, albeit remotely in many cases.
