User recruited by Timwi who hasn't gotten around to making this a real page yet. I'm usually over here (http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=beginning), but Wikipedia is also really helpful in making me waste time.
Since these lists are all the rage, here are some pages I've done a lot of work on:
- University of Connecticut - wrote almost the whole darn thing
- Bill O'Reilly (commentator) - added the majority of biographical information, always working hard at keeping it NPOV (good luck)
- GED - wrote virtually every word there
- Hartford Circus Fire - first article I ever wrote almost entirely from scratch (aside from Bill O'Reilly), back before I actually made an account; seriously needs Wikifying and other improvements, but hey, I'm busy blowing time elsewhere...
- Fight song - I just (12.19.2004) organized that whole list, so be a love and add/correct at will
- Wadsworth Atheneum - first article I wrote after making my account; I've barely touched it since
- 2004 Summer Olympics opening ceremony - wrote a ton of that article, and I actually have some new things to add to it
- List of people from Connecticut - my baby, so please don't mess it up
- List of nicknames used by George W. Bush - another pet of mine
- Colin Quinn, Jon Stewart, Denis Leary, and Conan O'Brien - did a lot of work on each
- Courtney Kupets - almost entirely me
- Blizzard of 1978 - with all the times I heard that story growing up, you better hope I know what happened
- List of radio stations in Connecticut - you do not want to know how long that took
- Jim Calhoun - wrote entire thing from scratch
- Cheese-eating surrender monkeys - you know you love it, deep down in your geeky little heart...
I'm bored compiling that list already. Really need to work on that attention span issue.
My pet peeves of the moment include people making "External links" a plural when it shouldn't be, and not including www. or trailing slashes (when appropriate) with said links. Stop doing that, please.
