Arczangel, a pseudonym for Jennifer Lin (a bored student who needs to be studying for her IB Economics HL examination tomorrow), was a screen name that was chosen by me randomly during the 7th grade.

Main Interests
I feel it is imperative that people understand what my interests are. Here:
Literature
J.D. Salinger is the author of my favorite book, Catcher in the Rye. The protagonist of Catcher is Holden Caulfield, a symbol of teenage angst, according to some. I, however, am less deep than that. No, really. I simply enjoy reading the book. I think it's funny and true.
T.S. Eliot is the author of my favorite poem, The Hollow Men, which contains a reference to Conrad's Heart of Darkness, which I was tested over recently. If you don't know of the poem The Hollow Men, you should stop reading my drivel and go read that instead. It's much better.
Kurt Vonnegut has written a lot of stuff. Mostly good.
Douglas Adams is the author of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Non-Trilogy. Very good stuff. Highly recommended.
J.K. Rowling is, well...everyone knows who she is. Harry Potter rocks my socks. I could talk a while about him, but that would be a waste of 12 or so perfectly good bytes so I won't. I can't wait for the next book to come out. Yay.
Cinema
Johnny Depp is the best actor, ever. The end. No discussion necessary.
Ever After is a very good movie starring Drew Barrymore. I can't explain the British accents when they're all supposed to be in France, but other than that it's a very enjoyable movie.
Clueless is a classic. Cher is my heroine. Well, not really.
Aladdin is the best Disney animated movie ever. Michael Eisner is an idiot. Spit on him.
Education
Economics is the study of how scarce resources should be allocated in view of our unlimited and insatiable wants.
Marketing is what caused me to buy that piece of crap Revlon $9-dollar ceramic curling iron that broke in two days. I want my money back.
Journalism is something which I will be pursing as part of my dream to become an editor of a magazine or newpaper. I will, most likely, fail and have to get some low-paying advertising job and die unfulfilled and lonely. In a shack. Next to toxic waste.
