Salam, I'm Almahdi and I'm from Bahrain, a small island in the Arabian Gulf. Almahdi is actually my last name; it has nothing to do with the Al-Mahdi Army. In Arabic the name means "the guided one" (from the triliteral root H D Y, "to guide"); yeah, sure.
I speak Arabic, English, Esperanto, a bit of Maltese, French, Spanish, and some other languages too.
I'm interested in Arab culture, languages (natural and constructed), evolutionary psychology, evolutionary sociology, history, geography, vexillology, heraldry, philosophy, medicine, politics, Esperanto, and the humanities in general.
