The University of New Haven is a private coeducational university located in suburban West Haven, Connecticut. Founded in 1920, the university is situated on a 78 acre (316,000 m²) campus, has an undergraduate enrollment of about 1,800 students, and offers associate's and bachelor's degrees in over 100 program areas.
The school's radio station, WNHU-FM is considered by some in the college radio community to be one of the most influential college stations in the country for new alternative artists, as well as its vast array of specialty and ethnic shows.
