University of Ballarat

The University of Ballarat is a university in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. It was formed by the passage of an Act of the Victorian Parliament in 1994, from the former Ballarat College of Advanced Education. It subsequently absorbed the Ballarat School of Mines and the Horsham-based Wimmera Institute of TAFE in 1998.
The University has six campuses, three in Ballarat and one each at Horsham, Stawell and Ararat, and a total student population of over 19,000.
Mt. Helen Campus
The Ballarat main campus is located in Mt. Helen's natural bushland.
It contains 2 residences Peter Laylor Hall and Bella Guerin Hall and contains the following schools
