Template:Politics of Zambia The United Party for National Development is a liberal political party in Zambia. At the last legislative elections, 27 december 2001, the party won 23.3 % of popular votes and 49 out of 159 seats. Its candidate at the presidential elections, Anderson Mazoka, on the same day won 27.2%. The party is an observer at Liberal International.
