USS Tennessee

Four ships of the United States Navy (and two ships of the Confederate States Navy) have been named USS Tennessee in honor of the 16th state.
- The first USS Tennessee was a wooden screw frigate built as Madawaska.
- The second USS Tennessee (ACR-10) was the lead ship of her class of armored cruiser.
- The third USS Tennessee (BB-43) was the lead ship of her class of battleship.
- The fourth USS Tennessee (SSBN-734) is an Ohio-class submarine.
