USS Norfolk

Three vessels of the United States Navy, and one incomplete, have been named USS Norfolk, after the city of Norfolk, Virginia.
- The first Norfolk was a brig during the Quasi-War with France.
- The second Norfolk (CA-137) was to be a heavy cruiser. The ship was laid down 27 December 1944 at the Philadelpha Naval Shipyard, but construction was cancelled 12 August 1945.
- The third Norfolk (DL-1) was a destroyer leader, the first major warship built by the Navy after World War II, and in service from 1953 to 1970.
- The fourth Norfolk (SSN-714) is a Los Angeles-class nuclear attack submarine commissioned in 1983 and on active service as of 2004.
