USS Mississinewa

Two oilers of the United States Navy have been named USS Mississinewa, after the Mississinewa River of Indiana.
- The first Mississinewa (AO-59) was the first victim of a kaiten, sunk in 1944 just a few months after commissioning.
- The second Mississinewa (AO-144) was in service from 1955 to 1976.
