Type 97 Te-Ke
|
The Japanese Type 97 Te-Ke was a light tank (4.5 tons) designed as a replacement to the earlier type 94. Throughout WW2, it was Japan's most widely used tankette, and was produced in large numbers. It had a crew of two and was armed with either a 37mm type 94 cannon, or a 7.7mm type 97 machine gun. Its armour was thin, between 4-12mm.
