Twin City is a city located in Emanuel County, Georgia. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 1,752.
Twin City gets its name from the combining of two adjacent cities: Graymont and Summit.

There are 632 housing units at an average density of 68.2/km² (176.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 45.66% White, 53.60% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.40% from other races, and 0.34% from two or more races. 1.26% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 545 households out of which 39.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.7% are married couples living together, 20.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 28.3% are non-families. 25.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 12.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.65 and the average family size is 3.16.
