Tsuna District, Hyogo

Tsuna (津名郡; -gun) is a district located in Hyogo, Japan.
As of 2005, the town has an estimated population of 11,500, and the total area is 58.21 km². Only the town of Goshiki belongs to this district.
The towns of Awaji, Higashiura, Hokudan, Ichinomiya and Tsuna merged to form the city of Awaji on April 1, 2005. Prior to this merger (with 2003 population data), the district had an estimated population of 61,741 and a density of 254.84 persons per km². The total area was 242.27 km².
The town of Goshiki and city of Sumoto are scheduled to merge to form the city of (new) Sumoto on February 11, 2006 at which point the district will no longer exist.
