Tranøy is a municipality in the county of Troms, Norway.
The municipality is situated on the southern coast of the island Senja. The municipal centre is at Vangsvik in the east. Stonglandseidet in the west is another centre. The now abandoned island of Tranøy, with its 18th century wooden church, used to be the centre of activities. From Tranøybotn there is a short walk to the Ånderdalen National Park, with varied landscapes within a very limited area, including deep pine forests.
