Spain is the second most-visited tourism destination in the World after France. They welcome 52 million tourists per year, according to the World Tourism Organization.
Tourism in Spain includes the two largest cities of Madrid and Barcelona, and some other very interesting places include Cordoba, Sevilla, Granada (cultural places) and Malaga, Huelva, Cadiz, Almeria (beaches) in Andalusia. Santiago de Compostela, Salamanca, Toledo, Segovia are beautiful places in the rest of the country. Important touristics places (with incredible beaches) are Salou, Benidorm, Majorca, Ibiza (Balearic islands), Canary Islands, Valencia, Catalonia and The Cantabrico (north of Spain).
Spain's national airline is Iberia (or Iberia Airlines), but the country can also be flown into on many international passenger and charter airlines, both of which fly to many tourist spots in the region. There are good trains, for example AVE (Spanish high velocity) or Talgo. There are good freeways to the most important cities.
