Tom & Huck is a 1995 Disney film starring Jonathan Taylor Thomas based on Mark Twain's novel The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. In the film, a mischievous young boy, Tom Sawyer, witnesses a murder by the deadly Injun Joe. Tom becomes friends with Huckleberry Finn, a boy with no future and no family. Tom has to choose between honoring a friendship or honoring an oath because the town alcoholic is accused of the murder. Tom and Huck go through a couple of adventures trying to retrieve evidence. He does a good deed and everyone in town is proud of him. Tom is frightened by Injun Joe and thinks he will be killed himself.
The film made $23,735,802.
Preceding the film in theaters was a 3-minute Timon and Pumbaa music video of the song "Stand By Me." While not included on the home video, it appeared on various Disney videos and a public service announcement about eating right, featuring the two characters is shown on the video.
