Tobaccoville is a village located in Forsyth County, North Carolina. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 2,209.

Geography
Tobaccoville is located at 36°13'50" North, 80°21'48" West (36.230502, -80.363261)Template:GR.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 18.4 km² (7.1 mi²). 18.4 km² (7.1 mi²) of it is land and 0.14% is water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 2,209 people, 889 households, and 661 families residing in the village. The population density is 120.3/km² (311.6/mi²). There are 944 housing units at an average density of 51.4/km² (133.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 95.07% White, 4.16% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.18% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.14% from other races, and 0.45% from two or more races. 0.77% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 889 households out of which 32.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.0% are married couples living together, 7.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 25.6% are non-families. 21.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 8.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.48 and the average family size is 2.89.
In the village the population is spread out with 24.0% under the age of 18, 6.5% from 18 to 24, 31.6% from 25 to 44, 27.3% from 45 to 64, and 10.6% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 39 years. For every 100 females there are 97.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 93.9 males.
The median income for a household in the village is $48,233, and the median income for a family is $56,034. Males have a median income of $34,554 versus $27,288 for females.
