Tiverton, Ontario (2001 census population 743) is a village located in the Canadian province of Ontario.
Tiverton is located near the shore of Lake Huron on highway 21.
Tiverton is incorporated in the Township of Kincardine.
Electrical Generation
- Tiverton is the site of the Bruce Nuclear Generating Station, one of the largest nuclear power facilities in the world.
- Ontario's first commercial wind farm, called "Huron Wind" is also located near Tiverton. The wind farm consists of 5 wind turbines.
