Tina Wesson (born December 26, 1960 in Knoxville, Tennessee) was the winner of Survivor: The Australian Outback.
Tina Wesson became champion of the second edition of Survivor filmed in the Outback of Australia in 2000 and aired in the United States in 2001. Wesson, a nurse from Tennessee, outlasted 15 other players. She was the first woman to win the $1 million prize. She returned in 2004 for Survivor: All-Stars but was the first person voted off the show. Her status as a previous winner was one of the reasons behind the decision for her tribe to vote her off. Ethan Zohn, the winner of Survivor: Africa, was also on Tina's tribe, and was just as vulnerable, but the other four tribemates thought Ethan was more valuable than Tina, so they voted her out instead of him.
Tina had many attributes that made her popular with viewers. She was an attractive blonde with a positive, outgoing personality and a competitive attitude. In addition, while she already had a thin figure at the start of the competition, the six weeks of starvation and exercise made her extremely skinny. Some fans though were extremely dissapointed that she won over Colby Donaldson because without his winning of many immunity challenges and pretending to have an alliance with Jerri and Amber, she never would have made it to the final two. Also she spent her money very quickly and mostly on herself (like breast implants) and on her house.
She also appered on HGTV's Designer's Challange. She and her husband wanted a room to remined her of her experience at the outback.
