Theodore Francis Green

Theodore Francis Green (October 2, 1867–May 19, 1966) was an American politician who served as Governor of Rhode Island from 1933 until 1937, when he was elected as a United States Senator from that state, serving until 1961.
At the time of his departure from the Senate on January 3, 1961, Green was the oldest person to have served in that body, until Strom Thurmond surpassed him in 1996.
T. F. Green Airport in Warwick, Rhode Island is named for Green.
