The Slackers

The Slackers are one of the most notable bands to emerge from the New York City ska scene. Formed in 1991, the band has honed a unique sound with mixes of ska, reggae, soul, swing, garage rock, and jazz. The Slackers have become a staple of the worldwide ska scene by releasing consistently better music and extensively touring North America, Europe, and elsewhere.
Several side projects have stemmed from the band including the Dave Hillyard Rocksteady 7 and the SKAndalous All Stars
