The Pirate Planet

Template:Doctorwhobox The Pirate Planet is a serial in the British science fiction television series Doctor Who, which was first broadcast in four weekly parts from September 30 to October 21, 1978. It forms the second serial of The Key to Time. It was written by Douglas Adams, and featured some of Adams' style of humour.

The planet Zanak has been hollowed out and fitted with hyperspace engines, allowing its insane half-robot Captain to materialise it around other smaller planets and plunder their resources.
