The Jimmy Timmy Power Hour
|
The Jimmy Timmy Power Hour was the third Nicktoons crossover story (and also the first non-Klasky-Csupo Nicktoons crossover), set between The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius and The Fairly OddParents (The previous two were the Rugrats episode "Ghost Story" which guest-starred Ickis, Krumm and Oblina of AAAHH!!! Real Monsters! fame and the movie Rugrats Go Wild which put the babies alongside The Wild Thornberrys). It aired on Nickelodeon in spring 2004.
A trans-dimensional portal causes Jimmy Neutron of Retroville (The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius) and Timmy Turner of Dimmsdale (The Fairly OddParents) to trade places.
Timmy has a science project, but its due the next day, so instead of making a last minute bargain hunting for materials, Timmy wishes for a transporting pen, and wishes he was in the "Greatest Lab in the Universe", eventually becoming the three-dimensional laboratory of Jimmy Neutron. In Jimmy's lab, Jimmy is busy repairing his robotic dog Goddard, who is losing power. Just then Timmy, now appearing as a three-dimensional being (Reminiscent of the 3D Homer Simpson in the last segment of The Simpsons episode Treehouse of Horror VI right down to the point of using the term "bulgy" to describe the third dimension) poofs in and Jimmy eventually gets transported to the two-dimensional world of Dimmsdale by tapping on the star of Timmy's Auto-Poofer pen. When Jimmy’s friends Carl and Sheen drop by, they don’t know who Timmy is; instead they think it's still Jimmy, but with his “head so small” Timmy falls in love with Cindy Vortex, but they must join forces to defeat Goddard when the robodog is mutated by a computer game Timmy had been playing. Meanwhile, in Dimmsdale, Jimmy must help Timmy’s godparents, Cosmo and Wanda, to protect both Earth and Fairy World from Mr. Crocker's scheme for domination.
