The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon
|
The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon is the second expansion set for Bethesda Softworks' The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind: unlike Tribunal, it adds a large new island to the original world map, a cold northern country named Solstheim. It is populated largely by the Nord instead of the Dunmer (dark elves) that were the indigenous race in Morrowind. This is largely due to the fact that the island is close to the Nordic homeland of Skyrim.
This expansion adds new enemies, a new guild and the possibility to become werewolves, akin to the inclusion of vampires seen in Morrowind. Bloodmoon also uses larger and more detailed environments, including snowfall, thus raising the hardware requirements.
