Founded in 1986, the Maryland-based video game developer Bethesda Softworks is perhaps best known for developing and publishing The Elder Scrolls RPG series. The series includes:

- Battlespire (1997)

- Morrowind (2002)
- Oblivion (in production: est. Holiday Season 2005)
