Talk Talk Chronology | ||
It's My Life (1984) | The Colour of Spring (1986) | Spirit of Eden (1988) |
The Colour of Spring is Talk Talk's third album and was released in 1986. It became their highest selling non-compilation album. With its international hit "Life's What You Make It," Talk Talk expanded their fan base, and garnered the band their first -and final- American hit since 1984's "It's My Life." It was a drastic change from their previous two synth-pop albums, and while not quite the post-rock epics their final two albums would be, it still had enough savvy hooks to make it the moderate pop success it became.
