Teimour Radjabov (b. March 12, 1987 in Baku, Azerbaijan) is a leading Azerbaijani chess player.
From their first encounter to the end of 2004 Linares, Radjabov and Garry Kasparov have 1 loss, 1 win, and 5 draws each, an impressive performance against any former world champion by any chess player, especially a teenager.
In the 2003 Linares tournament, Radjabov beat Kasparov with the black pieces (moves given in Algebraic chess notation):

In so doing, he became the first player born since Kasparov first became World Chess Champion in 1985 to defeat him.
In 2003, he also defeated Viswanathan Anand and Ruslan Ponomariov with the black pieces. He is probably the first player ever to beat three former and reigning FIDE World Chess Champions with the black pieces in one year.
And to the end of 2003, Radjabov and Judit Polgar, the best female chess player in history, have 1 loss, 1 win, and 2 draws each.
In the April 2005 FIDE list, Radjabov had an Elo rating of 2673, making him number 29 in the world, and Azerbaijan's number one.nl:Teimour Radjabov pl:Tejmur Radżabow sl:Teimour Radjabov de:Teimour Radjabov
