There is no policy which precludes the inclusion of other names in a bio. But what's the point if you don't give the person's full name, include a link, and write an article about them? You give a last name and don't bother to tell us why the person is included, and people will look at this article as being basically useless. -- Zoe
The person is included because they're listed in Wuthrich's CV. That's good enough for me, for the time I was spending on the article, and that's all I know about them. If you don't want to look them up yourself, that's OK, but don't go whinging about what I'm unwilling to do if you aren't, in turn, willing to do it yourself.
- It will continue to be deleted if you don't tell us who the person is. -- Zoe
- Apparently, they're other scientists the subject worked with or under during the course of his career. I don't see any point to removing them, though full names would be nicer than initials, and links if they're interesting enough on their own. --Brion 03:58 Mar 30, 2003 (UTC)
- That's my point. Give us full names, then they might be look-up-able in Google so somebody can write an article. But this is nonsense, and will make the Wikipedia look bad. -- Zoe
- It's not nonsense, it's just incomplete. If incompleteness means we should delete it so it doesn't make us look bad, maybe you'd best ask Jimbo to take the site off-line until the encyclopedia's finished. ;) --Brion
Are you saying you tried to look them up in Google, and failed? Or that you're meddling in an area where you can't even contribute the time of a Google search, but see fit to erase the work of others? You're making it harder to fill in the details, not easier. Please quit being such a manipulative asshole and spend your time building content, not destroying it.
- Now, now. That wasn't very nice. In the spirit of WikiLove I will find out the first names. --mav
172, is that you? -- Zoe
- The IP address seems to belong in Iowa somewhere. We have another dear friend from out that way, as I recall... --Brion
Done. --mav
- Thanks, mav. --Brion
