Summit Township is a township located in Steele County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 515.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 93.1 km² (36.0 mi²). 93.0 km² (35.9 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.04 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.08% water.
Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 515 people, 175 households, and 145 families residing in the township. The population density is 5.5/km² (14.3/mi²). There are 180 housing units at an average density of 1.9/km² (5.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 99.61% White, 0.19% Asian, and 0.19% from two or more races.
