Stars in Their Eyes is a British television talent show in which contestants impersonate showbiz stars.
From 1990-1992, it was presented by Leslie Crowther and from 1993-2004, it was presented by Matthew Kelly (coining the catchphrase "Tonight Matthew I am going to be..."). The current presenter is Cat Deeley. Davina McCall presented 3 episodes in 2003, when Matthew Kelly was in trouble with the law.
Currently on its 15th Series featuring names like Sinead O'Connor and Neil Diamond, it remains one of the UK's most successful Shows attracting around 13 million viewers for the Live Final at the end of each series.
It has also had various celebrity editions of the show, with the same basic concept, however with celebrities as the contestants.
There have been junior editions of the show with young people under the age of 16 taking on the guise of famous singers.
