Star City is a town located in Monongalia County, West Virginia. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,366.

The racial makeup of the town is 93.56% White, 2.64% African American, 0.00% Native American, 2.34% Asian, 0.07% Pacific Islander, 0.37% from other races, and 1.02% from two or more races. 0.15% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
