Stanley Donwood

Stanley Donwood is the pseudonym of English writer and artist Dan Rickwood, who has gained fame for his work on the album and poster art for Radiohead since the release of their My Iron Lung EP (1994). Since 1996, he has also collaborated with Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke and others on the band's websites. Yorke is usually credited alongside Donwood under the moniker "The White Chocolate Farm," or more recently Dr. Tchock or some such abbreviation.
Donwood and Yorke met at the University of Exeter as art students. In 2001, they won a Grammy Award for Best Packaging/Artwork for the Special Edition of Amnesiac. Aside from his work for Radiohead, Donwood also maintains his own website, Slowly Downward (http://www.slowlydownward.com), where he publishes his own short stories and various other writings, all of which have a unique and often odd style.
Despite his popularity, Donwood's enigma-like status is such that his existence as separate from Thom Yorke has at times been doubted. He has, however, appeared in the odd band webcast and the Grammy Award ceremony in 2001, where he and Yorke/Tchock collected the award for Best Packaging/Artwork.
