Flow

The word flow has several different meanings:
- In fluid mechanics, the word flow is often used to mean a complete description of the motion of a fluid. See also rate of fluid flow.
- In physics, flow is another name for "flux", which is the rate at which something flows through a given cross section.
- In psychology, flow is the feeling of complete and energized focus in an activity, with a high level of enjoyment and fulfillment as described by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi.
- In television, flow is a term used about how channels try to hold their audience by announcing the coming programs.
- Dataflow and workflow are terms used in computing.
- The notion of network flow is formalized in a branch of mathematics known as graph theory.
