Southwestern Athletic Conference

The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) is a college athletic conference made up of historically black universities in the southern United States. It participates in the NCAA's Division I-AA for football and Division I for all other sports.

Former members (and years of membership): Arkansas AM&N (1936-1970), Bishop College (1920-1956), Langston University (1931-1957), Paul Quinn College (1920-1929), Sam Houston College (1920-1959), Texas College (1920-1968), and Wiley College (1920-1968).
