South Hwanghae

Template:Infobox North Korean province South Hwanghae (Hwanghae-namdo) is a province of North Korea. The province was formed in 1954 when the former Hwanghae Province was split into North and South Hwanghae. The provincial capital is Haeju. It is bordered to the north and east by North Hwanghae province and to the southeast by Kaesŏng. The southern border of the province is marked by the Korean Demilitarized Zone with South Korea. On the west, there is the West Sea (Yellow Sea) in Chinese.
