Sky Dream Fukuoka
|
At 112 meters, Sky Dream Fukuoka, the giant Ferris wheel of Evergreen Marinoa (a Japanese outlet mall), dominates Fukuoka, Japan's western skyline. The wheel is the second largest in Asia. It's towered by mere half a meter by Tempozan Harbor Village Ferris wheel in Osaka, Japan.
The largest Ferris-type wheel in the world is London, England's observation wheel the London Eye which is 135 metres tall.
Why Size Matters
For the typical teenagers without funds for a Love Hotel, its large size has a critical meaning. Amorous couples on a date treasure the 20 minutes of kissing time a circuit takes.
