The Singapura is a recognized breed of cat. It is one of the smallest breeds of cats. Singapuras have large eyes and ears, are light beige in color, and are curious and playful. The breed is noted for having a shortened and hooked tail. These cats can be found lounging around the city, in food stalls, markets, and public places. The breed is called "Singapura" is because they come from Singapore. The Singapura that lived in Singapore were wanted dead. The ones small enough to hide in drains survived more often, hence the name 'Drain Cat'.Template:Mammal-stub
