Sharonville is a city located in Butler and Hamilton counties in Ohio. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 13,804.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 25.5 km² (9.9 mi²). 25.4 km² (9.8 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.51% water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 13,804 people, 6,211 households, and 3,589 families residing in the city. The population density is 543.3/km² (1,407.7/mi²). There are 6,526 housing units at an average density of 256.9/km² (665.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 88.74% White, 4.82% African American, 0.12% Native American, 3.80% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 0.96% from other races, and 1.54% from two or more races. 2.30% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 6,211 households out of which 24.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.0% are married couples living together, 9.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 42.2% are non-families. 36.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 12.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.17 and the average family size is 2.85.
In the city the population is spread out with 20.6% under the age of 18, 7.8% from 18 to 24, 31.0% from 25 to 44, 23.5% from 45 to 64, and 17.1% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 39 years. For every 100 females there are 92.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 88.7 males.
The median income for a household in the city is $47,055, and the median income for a family is $59,136. Males have a median income of $41,679 versus $29,391 for females. The per capita income for the city is $27,483. 4.0% of the population and 2.5% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total population, 3.8% of those under the age of 18 and 5.6% of those 65 and older are living below the poverty line.
Education
Sharonville is home to Princeton High School, the secondary school of the Princeton City Schools, a consolidated school district encompassing the neighboring communities of Evendale, Glendale, Lincoln Heights, Sharonville, and Springdale.
