Sergio Oliva

Sergio Oliva (born 4 July 1941) is a bodybuilder.
In 1961, at the Pan Am Games in Kingston, Jamaica he escaped from the Castro-controlled Cuba as he, and the entire Cuban weightlifting team were granted asylum.
He was born in Cuba and emigrated to the United States. He was introduced to bodybuilding in 1963 by a future Mr. America, Bob Gadja.
