Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 456 people, 205 households, and 121 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 27.6/km² (71.5/mi²). There are 281 housing units at an average density of 17.0/km² (44.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 85.09% White, 0.22% Black or African American, 1.97% Native American, 1.54% Asian, 0.22% Pacific Islander, 6.14% from other races, and 4.82% from two or more races. 19.08% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 205 households out of which 29.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 44.9% are married couples living together, 10.7% have a female householder with no husband present, and 40.5% are non-families. 36.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 16.6% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.22 and the average family size is 2.91.
In the CDP the population is spread out with 26.5% under the age of 18, 5.3% from 18 to 24, 25.4% from 25 to 44, 24.1% from 45 to 64, and 18.6% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 41 years. For every 100 females there are 96.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 94.8 males.
