The Seer, in the TV series Charmed, is the cryptic African upper-level demoness that has been around for thousands of years. Because she has the power to see the future, she has gained great respect in the Underworld. In fact, she has served multiple Sources, all the while seeking the opportunity to gain ultimate power.
She helped the original Source and then betrayed him to save all magical life on Earth. She had Cole Turner take the Source's powers and destroy him.
She made it possible for Cole and Phoebe Halliwell to conceive and carry a very powerful child.
When Cole was vanquished by the Charmed Ones, the Seer had stolen the baby from Phoebe and admitted it that she had planted her own offspring within Phoebe, which made the child actually hers.
Unable to control the child within her, the Seer was vanquished by the baby's powers as well as the demonic council.
