Seat Pleasant is a city located in Prince George's County, Maryland. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 4,885.

The racial makeup of the city is 2.01% White, 96.72% African American, 0.10% Native American, 0.16% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.14% from other races, and 0.86% from two or more races. 0.66% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
