Schaarbeek (Dutch) or Schaerbeek (French) is one of the nineteen municipalities located in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium.
On 1 January 2004 the municipality had a total population of 110,253 (54,115 males and 56,138 females). The total area is 8.14 km² which gives a population density of 13,544.59 inhabitants per km².
