Satus is a census-designated place located in Yakima County, Washington. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 746.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 179.4 km² (69.3 mi²). 177.6 km² (68.6 mi²) of it is land and 1.8 km² (0.7 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.98% water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 746 people, 200 households, and 168 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 4.2/km² (10.9/mi²). There are 215 housing units at an average density of 1.2/km² (3.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 32.98% White, 0.27% African American, 37.00% Native American, 0.27% Asian, 0.13% Pacific Islander, 23.73% from other races, and 5.63% from two or more races. 27.48% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 200 households out of which 41.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.0% are married couples living together, 10.5% have a female householder with no husband present, and 16.0% are non-families. 12.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 6.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.52 and the average family size is 3.79.
In the CDP the population is spread out with 34.7% under the age of 18, 10.2% from 18 to 24, 25.7% from 25 to 44, 22.0% from 45 to 64, and 7.4% who are 65 years of age or older.
