Saskatoon International Airport

Saskatoon International Airport, officially known as The Right Honourable John G. Diefenbaker International Airport, is an airport in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Its IATA Airport Code is YXE. Its ICAO Airport Code is CYXE.
The airport has 4 Jetbridges. Also, in 2001, traffic in YXE exceeded 800,000 passengers, making YXE the largest airport in the province.
Many people are disappointed in the naming of this airport after Diefenbaker, as he made what some believe to have been one of the most controversial policy decisions of the last century in Canada in 1959 when his government cancelled the development and manufacture of the Avro Arrow, a military aircraft. This is what many people felt caused the Canadian aviation industry to collapse.
