Sandvika

Sandvika is the administrative centre of the municipality of Bærum in Norway. It is situated approximately 15 kilometers west of Oslo and has a railway and bus station.
Sandvika is also home to one of Norway's largest shopping centres - Sandvika storsenter, containing 108 stores spread over 29,000 m².
There is a public library, cinema and a recently constructed culture centre.
Sandvika was declared a town on 4 June 2003.
Danmark is a small islet in Sandviksbukta outside Sandvika. Danes who live in the Oslo area join together every year on Denmark's national day to celebrate.
