History
The original Manila brewery was founded by a Spaniard in 1890. It is primarily a food and beverage company and it brews San Miguel beer, a popular beer recently exported and sold around the world. The company has over 100 facilities in the Philippines, Southeast Asia, China, and Australia. There is also another famous Spanish beer called San Miguel, which is the most famous Spanish beer internationally. It is also the authorized Philippine distributor of the Coca-Cola line of softdrinks, and owns the Australian-based Boag's Brewery. Its Chairman and CEO is Eduardo Cojuangco Jr..
